第1段

（大卫与两河间的亚兰并琐巴的亚兰争战的时候，约押转回，在盐谷攻击以东，杀了一万二千人。那时大卫作这金诗，叫人学习，交与伶长，调用为证的百合花）神阿，你丢弃了我们，使我们破坏；你向我们发怒，求你使我们复兴。
O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

第2段

你使地震动，而且崩裂。求你将裂口医好。因为地摇动。
Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

第3段

你叫你的民遇见艰难。你叫我们喝那使人东倒西歪的酒。
Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

第4段

你把旌旗赐给敬畏你的人，可以为真理杨起来。（细拉）
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

第5段

求你应允我们，用右手拯救我们，好叫你所亲爱的人得救。
That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

第6段

神已经指着他的圣洁说，（说或作应许我）我要欢乐。我要分开示剑，丈量疏割谷。
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

第7段

基列是我的。玛拿西也是我的。以法莲是护卫我头的。犹大是我的杖。
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

第8段

摩押是我的沭浴盆。我要向以东抛鞋。非利士阿，你还能因我欢呼吗。
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

第9段

谁能领我进坚固城。谁能引我到以东地。
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

第10段

神阿，你不是丢弃了我们吗。神阿，你不和我们的军兵同去吗。
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?

第11段

求你帮助我们攻击敌人，因为人的帮助是枉然的。
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

第12段

我们倚靠神，才得施展大能，因为践踏我们敌人的就是他。
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
