马克唐纳

（Macdonell, ArthurAnthony; 1854～1931）英国梵文学者。尝任牛津大学教授（1899～1927），复于加尔各答 Stephanos Nirmalendu Ghosh 学院，讲述比较宗教学（1922）。主要著作有 SanskritGrammar for Students, 1886;Sanskrit English Dictionary,1892; Vedic Mythology, 1897; AHistory of Sanskrit Literature ,1900; Vedic Grammar, 1910; A Vedic Grammar for Students,1917; Indias/ Past, 1927 ; Ka^tya^yanas/ Sarva^nukraman!i^ of the Rigveda; Vedic Index of Names and Subjects , 2 vois.
